Cable Electric, LLC is an electrical contracting company and was established in April of 2017 by Aaron Cable of Elkhart County, Indiana. I was born in Lafayette, Indiana in 1973 and moved to Elkhart County, Indiana with my parents and siblings when I was 6 years old. So, I grew up near Goshen, Indiana most of my life! My Dad was an electrician also but when I was old enough to start working at a job, I was not sure what I was interested in, so I tried different occupations for several years. I worked in a kitchen cabinet shop for a few years, then moved to a larger office furniture factory in New Paris, Indiana. After working there for a few years, I grew tired of the factory life, so I got a job working for a builder doing new houses, additions, remodeling, roofing, and some electrical! All those jobs were Ok, and I am grateful for the experience
that I gained from them, but they just did not seem to be what I was looking for. After I was married, we lived in Franklin County, Pennsylvania for 7-1/2 years, “which is where my wife came from,” and then moved back to Elkhart County, Indiana in 2005. Around the year 1999 while still living in Pennsylvania I started working with another friend building houses and I did the electrical work after we had the house up and something seemed to click and I realized that this was my niche! I also worked for some other electrical contractors and gained insights from them as well! I eventually studied for and obtained my Master Electrician License and then in April of 2017 I decided that it was time to start my own business so that I would have a business for my Son’s. My two oldest sons are working with me and one other non-family electrician. My youngest son who is 6 years old is looking forward to when he can be an electrician too!! My wife helps in the office and my daughters help answer the phone too. The Lord has blessed us with plenty of work and it has been a challenge to keep up with the office work and working out on the jobs. We have made some mistakes and once in a while have to get a call from a customer that we forgot about but we try to learn from that and figure out a way to make sure we don’t forget again! We appreciate our customers understanding in this!
We do a variety of work in Residential, Commercial, and Industrial from electrical maintenance and repair to new construction. We have a Bucket Truck that can reach up to 40 feet and we work on parking lot lights, sign lighting repair and LED upgrades. We also can do underground locating for customer owned utilities as well as finding a break in an underground wire so that it can be repaired instead of replacing the whole wire.
We acknowledge the Lord Jesus Christ as our Master and Savior and we strive to follow in His footsteps in all areas of life. However, we realize that actions speak much louder than words and so we strive to live our lives more by showing rather than telling. It is not our intention to use our religion to gain more business, but we state our position simply to let our customers know where we stand and who our Master is! “In all thy waysthat I gained from them, but they just did not seem to be what I was looking for.
